Return to Central is the third studio album by the Scottish pop group Bis. It was released in 2001 and includes the single "The End Starts Today". The hair of the girl on the cover was different depending on the region of the release. The UK and United States versions had red covers, while Australia's was blue, Japan's was purple, other parts of Europe's were green. All tracks written and composed by Bis; except for "Love Will Tear Us Apart" written by Curtis, Hook, Morris, Sumner.

Band Name Bis. Album Name Return to Central.

By the time bis recorded their third album, 2001's Return to Central, they had traveled a long way from the ramshackle, over-excitable trio they started out as only a few years previous. They trade all their noisy shouting and amped-up rhythms for a much more refined, almost sophisticated approach that follows further down the electropop path blazed by their previous album's high point, "Eurodisco.

2001's "Return To Central" sees bis rip up their own rule book and start stretching their wings. From the shouty pop-punk-disco of 1997's "The New Transistor Heroes" to the shiny, slick pop of 1999's "Social Dancing", not even the most fanatical bis fan could have envisaged the leap to "Return To Central". The massive sonic departure divided the remaining fanbase and was the band's last album until 2014's "data Panik etcetera", but many consider "Return To Central" the band's masterpiece. Now in expanded form with un-released tracks of the era, remixes and the "Fact 2002" EP, including the famous cover of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart.

Bis is a from Scotland coming trio that was founded in 1994. The three members are John, Steven and Amanda (surnames are secret). On their debut album The New Transistor Heroes (1997) they were depicted as cartoon figures, complete with fantasy names: John Disco, sci-fi Steven and Manda Rin. It fell to deduce what kind of band Bis. Three young people with a sense of humor that the music not too seriously names. Their second album was full of easy in the ear with electro-indie-pop and disco influences. They scored in their own country two surprising hits with Euro disco and Action & Drama. Return To Central is now set up their fourth album. The music still sounds funny, but the trio is something more serious (read: older) become. Very audible are the influences of ' adult ' bands such as Talk Talk and Kraftwerk. Across the Board are the songs a lot stronger. For lovers of 2001 self-titled debut EP was already a good year thanks to the fine albums by Ladytron, New Order and Das Pop. It is partly for this reason that we must Return To Central by Bis as a fun and unexpected Encore.
